DAY 05: SRINAGAR TO KARGIL VIA SONAMARG.

After breakfast drive to Kargil, on a way to Kargil we have to pass through Sonamarg and after g long drive we reach Kargil by late evening. Overnight at Hotel.
Zoji La: (3528m) Zojila is located on the National Highway 1D between Srinagar and Leh in the western section of the Himalayan mountain range. Zoji La is 9 km (5.6 mi) from Sonamarg and provides a vital link between Ladakh and Kashmir and is the second highest pass after Fotu La on the Srinagar-Leh National Highway.
Drass: (3280m) A few km beyond Drass is the Drass war memorial, built in the memory of fallen soldiers in the 1999 Kargil war and a must visit for every traveller passing through this route. From here it is a straight run to Kargil and you will be there with in 1-½ Hours. Kargil is the intended pit stop for the majority of travellers. Overnight stay at Kargil hotel.
DAY 06: DRIVE FROM KARGIL TO LEH VIA CROSSING NAMKILA PASS (12198 ft.) and FOTOLA PASS (3,510 m)

After breakfast drive towards Leh with some spectacular view from the pass. The chief attraction is Mulbek Chamba, a 9m high rock sculpture in deep relief of the Maitreya, the “Future Buddha” which reflects a unique blend of esoteric symbolism, with early Buddhist art.
Drive further to the 11th-century Lamayuru Monastery enroute visiting the mesmerizing Moon Landscapes (you will see why the name of this area is Moonland, as it has the same formations as visible on the moon). Lamayuru is spectacularly located along the valley plain and surrounded by mountains on all sides.
Further along the journey, we halt at Sangam - the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. You can see the two, distinctly colored rivers merge beautifully in the laps of lofty mountains.
We proceeded further to the Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, nestled snugly in the laps of the Himalayan Mountains. This 15th-century Gurudwara is a mere 5 km drive from the iconic Magnetic Hill, a scientific anomaly that defies the laws of gravity Overnight at hotel.
DAY 07: LEH – LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast drive to explore the beauty of Shanti Stupa, Leh palace and market.
Shanti Stupa:- Shanti stupa was founded in 1985 sponsored by Japanese for world peace. It was inaugurated by His holiness the 14th Dalai lama. Shanti stupa has a spectacular view od Leh city and Stok glacier.
Leh Palace:-The Leh Palace known as ‘Lachen Palkhar’ was built by Singay Namgyal, around the beginning of 17th century AD. The nine-storey Palace is now deserted, and archeological survey of India has taken up the renovation work.

DAY 08: LEH–NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNG LA 18,380 FT.

After breakfast, we drive to Nubra valley. The journey from Leh to Nubra spans 39 km and passes through the iconic Khardung La Pass. At an altitude of 17,582 ft., it is one of the five highest motorable roads in the world. Shrouded in a blanket of snow, the pass affords you sweeping views of the Indus Valley, along with the seemingly endless Zanskar range in the south. To your north, behold the magnificent Saser massif in all its glory. Adorned with fluttering prayer flags, Khardung La top is arguably the most picturesque location in Ladakh.
From Khardung La, we continue the journey to Nubra valley, also known as Ldumra or the Valley of Flowers. Sitting at an altitude of approximately 10,000 ft., it is nestled in the north of Ladakh, right between the Ladakh Himalayas and the Karakoram range. Once at Nubra, we check into our camps/hotel in Hunder for the night. Take in the breathtaking views of the lush oasis villages set as a stark contrast amidst barren mountains. These villages give you a rare glimpse into the fascinating lives of the locals. A visit to a Ladakhi home can also be arranged.

DAY 09: NUBRA VALLEY TO PANGONG

This morning, drive to Pangong Tso (lake), which is the largest brackish lake in Asia. A large part of it extends into Tibet. The lake is 80 miles (130 km) long and 3 miles (5 km) at its widest point. It freezes completely in winter and there's no marine life here, except for a few migrating birds like gulls and Brahminy ducks.
As this is a border region, the furthest point you're allowed to go to is Spangmik, from where there are spectacular views of the mountains of the Changchenmo range to the north, as well as their reflections in the ever-changing surface of the blue-green lake. Above Spangmik are the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Pangong range.
Explore the beauty of the lake to your heart’s content, and head back to Leh.Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 10: PENGONG -LEH –And LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, proceed for a local sightseeing tour and visit Shey Palace, Thiksey, Hemis Museum, Rancho school and Sindhu Ghat. Overnight stay in Leh

Upon arrival you will met by our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize followed by Welcome tea or Coffee at the Hotel. Evening Visit to Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa & Leh Market. Overnight at stay hotel.
DAY 02: LEH - EXCURSION TO SHAM VALLEY

After breakfast drive towards western part of Ladakh along the Indus river on Leh – Srinagar highway. And start sightseeing with Hall of Fame (Museum founded by India Army) near Leh is worth a visit for every Indian, and proceed further to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib founded in 15th century, Nestled deep in the Himalayas, drive ahead another 5 km for Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity & further Driving through a picturesque landscape we reached the Confluence Of The Indus And Zanskar River. After visiting above places we drive back to Leh enroute visiting Spituk Monastery, Built in 11th century during the region of Gragspa ‘Bum-lde, the monastery use to follow Kadampa school of Buddhism until 15th century where Gelukpa school of buddhism was started and still in practice with Gelukpa order. DAY 03: LEH–NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNG LA 18,380 FT.

After breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,380 ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp / Hotel in Hunder for Overnight stay. In the evening you can walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. Overnight Stay at the Camp or Hotel.
DAY 04: NUBRA VALLEY – Pangong Lake via shayok

After breakfast drive towards Pangong lake via Shayok river and Agham village, by evening reach at Pangong Lake situated at 13,930 feet. This famous high altitude Lake of Pangong is 5- 8Kms wide and over 140 Kms long with 30 % in India and 70% in China. This large, serene lake forms a brilliant color variation including deep blue, dark green, turquoise,etc Upon arrival in Pangong we check in at our Camp / Hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 05 : PANGONG LAKE TO LEH

One can also go for an early morning 2 km walk up to the old Buddhist Monastery in Sangla. Ovenight stay at the Rakcham.
Sangla Attractions Kamru Fort-
Kamru Fort is a popular attraction in Sangla and is famous for its various images of Buddha and idols of various other gods and goddess. Located at a distance of 2 km from Sangla Valley, it is located in a picturesque setting and is entered through a series of various gates. The third floor of the fort is especially worth visiting Buddhist Monastery- Sangla is very popular for its varied influence, of which Buddhism is a primary one. This monastery is a popular tourist attraction in this region.
Bering Nag Temple- Bering Nag Temple is the most popular attraction in Sangla Valley. The temple is the host of the famous annual Phulech Festival held every year in the month of Novtember.
Day 02 : Sangla ----- Chitkul village ------Nako

After breakfast proceed chitkul village . Enjoy the magnificent view of Kinnar Kailash peak. after reach in Nako, check in hotel & Overnight stay at Nako.
After breakfast, check-out form the hotel and get driven to Nako, through the Hindustan – Tibet Highway. En-route sight how the color of the scenery changes from an emerald lush green to a deserted brown as we will be driving on the world’s most treacherous and beautiful roads.
About Nako : Nako is a village in the Himalayas of northern India. It is located in Kinnaur district in Himachal Pradesh. The area is known for its lake,Nako Lake which forms part of the border of the village. Nako Monastery is located in the village as well as several other Buddhist temples.
Nako Attractions
Nako monastery- From outside, the monastery exude a very simple appearance, but this is in contrast to what you will see inside.Two temples are of utmost importance here, the Main temple and the Upper temple. Both these temples are considered the oldest amongst all the structures and still preserve their original clay sculptures, murals and ceiling panels. The largest temple or the main temple is also called the Translator's Temple. It also happens to be the oldest monument in the village.The third structure in the complex is the Small White temple, which though not in a good state, is worth visiting for its wonderful wooden door-frame with scenes of the Life of the Buddha carved on the lintel.The fourth structure is quiet the same size as the Upper Temple and is also situated besides it. The temple is today known as the Temple of Wide Proportions
Nako Lake- It forms part of the boundary of Nako village and seems that the village is half buried in the lake's border.The lake is surrounded by willow and poplar trees. Near the lake there are four Buddhist temples. Near this place there is a footlike impression ascribed to the saint Padmasambhava.
Day 03 : Nako – Tabo -- Kaza (115 Km 06 ---- 07 Hrs )

After breakfast at the hotel get driven to Tabo. Check in and relax at the pre booked hotel .After relaxing for some time go for local sightseeing. Overnight stay at the Tabo. About Tabo Tabo is a small town in the Lahaul and Spiti district on the banks of the Spiti River in Himachal Pradesh, India. The town lies on the road between Rekong Peo and Kaza. The town surrounds a Buddhist monastery called Tabo Monaestry, according to legend, is said to be over a thousand years old. His Holiness the Dalai Lama has expressed his desire to retire to Tabo.
Tabo Attractions :
Chogskhor Monastery- The present monastery is a reconstructed one because the ancient monastery was destroyed by the earthquake that hit the region in the year 1975. Large thangakas, many statues of Lord Buddha, manuscripts, well-preserved frescoes and murals adorn the walls of the monastery. The Temple of Enlightened God- It is the chief temple in the entire complex and houses an enormous assembly hall, a sanctum and a vestibula.
The Golden Temple- It is believed that the during early times, this temple was made entirely of gold. The main attraction here are the murals that adorn the walls and ceilings of the temple.
Day 04 : Kaza

After breakfast you will visit gue village , ki -kibber,gette tashigang, hikkim ,komik , langza tabo, dhankar, mud village . Full day excursion at Kaza Local & return to hotel and overnight stay in Kaza hotel .
Day 05 : Kazza -----Kalpa

After breakfast proceed towards Kalpa via Rekong Peo. Enjoy the magnificent view of Kinnar Kailash peak, Suicide point Roghi ,Kalpa Temple .After reach in kalpa hotel check in hotel & Overnight stay at Kalpa.
Day 06 : Kalpa To Shimla
